We are starting our choir up again after a brief absence. (Teresa Henderson, our director for the past two years moved to Detroit over the summer.) Theresa Plishka will be taking over. She is from Scranton, Pennsylvania but has lived in the Cleveland area for the past few years. She has sung with a number of Byzantine choirs and brings a great wealth of knowledge and musical experience to the position. There’s a good chance you’ll recognize her because she has attended St. Joe’s on occasion. If her name sounds familiar it’s because she’s the younger sister of Father Richard Plishka, who served a while as Parochial Vicar here. The first practice will be next Sunday (November 12) in the choir loft from 9:00-10:15 a.m. All interested persons are invited to join.
